BID at the IDHS(NA) National Show
Novermber 4-6 the IDHS(NA) held their 10th annual Breed Show and Inspections at the Horse Park of New Jersey. Bridon Irish Draughts was well represented with showing horses in hand, undersaddle, clients and students. Congrats to all and thank you so much for your continued support! Bridon Loughlara (Glenlara ex Loughleigh Lady)stole the show! She was the Champion Purebred Female, Champion North American Bred, Champion Youngstock, Champion Purebred In Hand and the Supreme Show Champion.
We are so proud of our girl "Josey" and her owners Michele and Larry Robbins.
Other In-hand highlights include Tullycross Glenerie (Glenlara ex Bridon Lady Luck) was the Reserve Champion purebred foal. She was bred and owned by Tullycross Farm. Our AID Mare Queenie Wahine won the open jumpers and the high jump at 4 foot 9 inches. Second to Queenie in the high jump was the RID stallion It's the Luck of the Irish, owned by Tullycross Farm. Lucky was ridden by BID trainer Martin Deer and has been in training with us since October. Bridon Lady Luck, also owned by Tullycross Farm, showed beautifully in her first dressage test, earning second place. "Sona" was ridden by BID trainer Gillian Pemberton and has been also been in training with us since October.
BID students Guy DeCorte and Michele Robbins showed beautifully all weekend coached by Gillian Pemberton. Their horses Tulla Gold and Kilbline did very well both in hand and under saddle earing many "primary colors".
We are so proud of their accomplishments. It was great to see old faces and meet new ones. Most of all, the supportive atmosphere within the IDHS(NA) really shined through. Until next year...
