2011 16.1 Chestnut Irish Draught  Mare

Cali is a stunning purebred Irish Draught filly with some of the best bloodlines bred in the US! She is the first foal and purebred of her fabulous sire, Kilronans Glenstone. Stoney is by the late, great producer, Glenlara and out of the suberb mare, Little Gem. Glenlara was a performance horse in his own right and has produced too many lovely amateur horses in the performance world to count. Little Gem is a foxhunter, show horses, mother extraordinaire AND eventer. She is going strong at training this season. Her decorations in the breeding and performance world could fill a wall. Cali's Dam, Loughleigh Lady was imported from Ireland and carries the lovely Holycross line that is not common in the US. Holycross is by Ben Purple who sired MANY amazing performance horses and can be found in the pedigree of David O'Connors Olympic mount, Custom Made. Loughleigh has produced an IDHANA Supreme Champion including Bridon Loughlara, who is now successfully performing and producing, as well as the RID stallion Whelan Gentleman Jack by the two time Dublin Champion Tors Gentleman Farmer. 

 

She was broken in 2014 and is one of the most gentle, managable souls we have ever bred.  She was inspected as C2 in 2014.  We look forward to more time in the tack with this lovely lady.
